Kavalden

Ok finally get sit down and talk about Ohayocon. I guess you could call it FrozenCon because the up was crazy for me because of the freezing my windshield wiper fluid and I kept getting a layer of salt on my windshield so I keep stopping to clean it. Finally got to the hotel and ran in to a few problems but it all worked out in the end. Meet up first with Michael and Jacob so it was good to touch base with them. Then met up with Jason and Gemma at the hotel to make sure we were good. Then start talking with Jason about the panel that Saturday because this would be my first being part of the panel instead of watching it. So I was excited to be part of the TeamConDoc show. Then met back with up Jacob who was meeting back up with Emily , who then was meeting up with Michi for drinks. But then we just head back to Emily room and hung out in her room all night waiting for Chloe to show up while I helped Emily with her Frozen Cosplay which by the way came out beautiful.

Friday at the con was good. I was dress up in my War Doctor Cosplay and it got a lot on compliments and I was happy with it. Still have to tweak and add on a few things but in all it came out good. Chloe was in her Amy Pond the power of three cosplay and she looked great even tho she stay in bed most of the day. Plus Mandy had this amazing Cyber Girl Tardis Cosplay which I wish I had gotten a picture of it. Got to see Chris in his Fifth Doctor costume again and it was good to hang our with him for a bit then ran in to Chelsey in her Link Cosplay which I really didn't get to see while at ColossalCon but then we met up Michi in her Peter Pan Cosplay for so PINK Shenanigans so it was a funny time. Then later that night was Zak's Birthday so it was fun play games and the restaurant. So again Happy Birthday Zak.

Saturday at the con was Def Con 5. It was the day of the panel and a lot need to be done before the panel. I was running around like crazy get handed out flyers and see if people want to be part of the panel to help out. Going over the script multiple time just so I didn't forget and thing. Getting the mass of crowd hype up for the panel. But in all the panel when well and I was every honor and proud that Jason asked me to be part of it. And it was funny see Michael get attack by Kate and Gemma and Kayleigh dancing around in their Weeboo masks. And Rachel doIng the voices for Weeboos live was a great idea. So after a long day with the panel it was time to relax before the BuzzCook panel at midnight. So we all decide to go to the hot-tub at the hotel. Which now if I look back wasn't a great idea, the hot tub wasn't hot enough and the water looked merky. So after that and a shower later. We all headed out the Main Panel room for the Buzzcock panel and I have to say it should have just been Michi uncensored, because she just own the show and it was funny as hell.

Sunday finally day if the con. It had been snowing all weekend in Columbus, and Michael and I were going do Deadpool and Bill but it was too cold for Spandex. So Michael did his Firefly Cosplay and I was just me. All I want to do before I left was see everyone one last time and check out Michi's Gender Bender Cosplsy Panel which was ever informed if I ever wanted to make fake boobs. So I got to see everyone and head out. The roads were good getting back and I didn't get back till like midnight and headed straight to bed.

Ohayocon was good this year a few problems but I had fun and got to see every one I. And and in the end that's what I wanted. I looking forward to next year and looking for to seeing everyone for C2E2 and ColossalCon — with Rachel Prather and Kayleigh Lascio.

I was kind of in a mood Saturday. I when to get a hair cut, ended up cutting it all off. Then I had work, it was overtime so that was OK. But later on had plans to see friends for dinner, but ended canceling them because since we made the plans a year ago everyone kind of forgot and made other plans. I was kind of bummed about that wanted to see everyone.

So now I am just waiting on Xmas Gifts that I ordered a week ago, hopefully they will get here before the Christmas Eve. And working on something for Ohayocon, tho I am not sure what I am going for Ohayocon yet. I mean I am going not missing out this year like last time. I am trying to get this Star Wars Character of my own design off the ground, but will see how that goes unless my mother does not get me a sewing machine for Christmas. Maybe if I am lucky with finance before my next paycheck, and lucky if I can find what I am looking for at the thrift stores I maybe be able to pull off John Hurt's The War Doctor from the 50th Doctor Who Special. It would be cool to see how if I can pull it off to see if helps my friends over at Team Con-Doc, but I getting ahead of myself as usually. So I am going to have to play it by ear...

    Been awhile since I wrote down my thoughts. A lot has been going on with me. Work has been crazy because of schedule and summer programs. My friends have been busy with their own lives and I don't get to see them as much as I like, but I guess that's how things are now as you grow up. But I did get to see Rita and Ricardo today. Mostly because I was going to plan a bad movie night which I am know now for doing, but everyone was busy and so was I that I decided to postpone it. But I guess Rita wanted to see me and so we when to see the Wolverine with Huge Jackman. I have to say it was better then origins, but their were somethings that bugged me or I didn't understand, but a good film.

    Then we got a late lunch had to go to too places before we finally got to a place to eat. The last place was shut down not for food violation, but for not paying their rent. So we went to Chile's, ate Mexican food with a lot of Jalapenos( yes my stomach will thank me later ). An had a great time as always with Rita and Ricardo.

    Then on top of that I had to go to my Brother's Birthday Dinner at a hibachi steak house. So after eating a late lunch and a early dinner I was a stuff pig. So I guess I am not eating to tomorrow at all. The Hibachi was good like getting a dinner and show with these places. An it wasn't as bad as I had thought with my whole family there. For sometime I have felt distance from my family because of everything that is going on, and feel disconnected from them, because we do not share the same things in common. But it was good, no one was bugging one another and everyone was enjoying their food. So I guess today was a good day.

    As for me the only thing I am trying to see is what's going on for NYC CC this year. I am looking forward to it. But I want to see if my friends are going or not. Then I guess that will decide if I am going. But if they are, I am hoping to get started on a new Cosplay. So I guess that's it for now see what happens next...

Been looking forward to Ohayocon this year( or next year since it's in January ). And I am hoping to get started now on my Arkham Riddler costume for it. Don't know why, I just want to do it for Ohayocon. I have always like the Riddler in the Arkham games for some reason. The Challenge I guess, looking for the trophies, solving the riddles. Plus the look is great. I think that the cane is the easy part, almost wood I think, not sure about the color. Everywhere I look different colors for it. I think the suit will be the hard part. Just trying to find a green suit alone is the challenge.

I guess the other costume will be Doctor Who related, mostly being the 7th Doctor again. Just have to repaint the the umbrella handle again. Took a beating while at Pandoracon.
